Born in Brazil, Professor Bruno brings 15 years of experience as an IBJJF-certified black belt and seasoned competitor with a proven track record. As the founder of Adapt Jiu Jitsu, he is committed to empowering students through world-class instruction grounded in precision, efficiency, and real-world application.
He earned his black belt under the respected Pedero Sauer lineage through Thiago Bertoni and John McKean, developing a strong foundation in technical, fundamentally sound jiu-jitsu. Having spent his early years in Brazil before relocating to the United States in the late 1990s, Bruno brings both cultural authenticity and a global perspective to his teaching.
He has trained extensively throughout the United States alongside elite practitioners, including Richie "Boogeyman" Martinez of 10th Planet San Diego.
Professor Bruno is dedicated to cultivating confidence, discipline, and resilience in his students, both on and off the mats, through structured, high-level instruction rooted in timeless fundamentals.
