Families facing hardship

Removing financial barriers to jiu jitsu and self-defense, giving individuals and families access to structured training, confidence, and community.

Program overview

Financial harship can force families to make difficult choices, and opportunities like martial arts training are often among the first things placed out of reach.

The Families Facing Hardship Initiative helps remove that barrier by providing fully funded access to Adapt Jiu Jitsu for qualifying individuals and families experiencing financial instability. Participants train alongside the broader Adapt community, gaining access to the same instruction, progression, and opportunities as every other member.

Through consistent training, our goal is to provide more than time on the mat. We create access to routine, confidence, positive relationships, and a community where individuals and families can continue moving forward, regardless of what their financial circumstances may look like today.

  • Provide participants with stability through routine and structured progression
